Coaxial Constructs

The Creature Lives Coaxial Constructs is a monotonous heavy as fuck behemoth. Launch yourself to cold isolate space and die there.

Kochan Newest release from K-Ora sounds like something I expect to hear on Acheron, from the Alien. Otherworldly, cold and creeping darkest ambient. From the Bandcamp description I learned this material is based upon the biomechanical life concept - and it sounds just like that, with all the humming and screeching.
Lord Vaselinus

Lord Vaselinus An unexpected artistic development from a US based producer, who shifted dramatically from rhythmical to rhythmless, but managed to make the music even more compelling.
It’s safe to say that this time k-ora delivers both Darkspace and dark space moods

about

A cold planet, with minimal light and gusting wind. The ground is flat and abrasive but you see cascading hills in the dark. You find constructs scattered around the land. Humming and glowing, indistinguishable at first. Mechanical like objects erect toward the sky. At first it seems devoid of life. Until a feeling over comes you, something is watching. (Phase 1)

Closer into the mechanical structures. You see something slowing moving and forming. A huge mass of coaxial like cables. Pools of liquid caught by them, or created by them? You look closer and feel some kind of warmth. Possibly the only warmth you'll find here. (Phase 2)

The constructs come to life. From a cryogenic liquid the coaxial cables form. Tiny objects skitter and swarm. Slowly merging and shaping to create themselves. They crawl out of the pools and break off a main structure. Almost humanoid, the bio mechanical objects venture out. The land is cold and arid, hills disappear in the distance. They walk aimlessly onto the land, slowly changing and evolving. They become sentient. (Phase Coaxial Life)

The sentient beings sprawl out into their world forming constructs along the way. Small bits of their body fall, like mechanical plants trying to pollinate. Years pass and they now slow down. Taking root and beginning their dying process. They slowly disassemble on a spot of land. Breaking down to their coaxial cables. (End Phase 1)

The constructs amass. You see mechanical like objects harden and reach towards the sky. The process repeats over hundreds of years. Slowly creating tall building like structures. The outside layer was once a singular original being. Now fully hardened and no longer sentient. And a dark pool inside starts to form... (Phase Coaxial Death)

"All I’m tellin’ ya is that I’d probably keep my distance from these “constructs” just to be on the safe side…because this does sound as menacing as curious…and I ain’t looking to be frozen in carbonite like Han Solo anytime soon" - Jer @ SBS
